More Sleep Products for Peaceful Nights and Energetic Days
Sleep Products
In my online meanderings, I’ve recently run across a company called Dream Essentials that I think deserves a second look. These folks provide online ordering of sleep products that can help you relax, alleviate pain, or cover irritating environmental noises that can disrupt your sleep. Here’s a glimpse at a few of the products that are now on my wish list:
- DreamTime Pampered Sole Foot Cozys: These nifty grown-up booties contain removable grain packs that can be heated or cooled to give your tired tootsies some much-needed love. Heat therapy can help with arthritis pain, soothe tired muscles, or warm cold feet; cold therapy can reduce swelling, edema, or other inflammation. The grain packs come in multiple aromatherapy scents: “cinnamon to calm, clove to comfort, and eucalyptus to revitalize.”
- Your Present: A Half Hour of Peace: This guided relaxation CD is designed to help the listener relax and unwind over the course of a half hour. The CD, which has been seen on NBC, ABC, and CBS news programs, is designed to slow racing minds and calm the body as well as the brain. Creator Suzie Mantell has won a “Best Audios” award for the piece in Publisher’s Weekly and was an Audie Awards Finalist for “Best Original Work.” The laundry list of features and listeners alone makes me curious enough to try this tempting little treat.
- Marsona Travel Sound Conditioner: This little sound conditioner is only one of a long line of such sound conditioners offered by Dream Essentials from multiple distributors. It tops my list because it’s versatile, inconspicuous, and can be taken along when you travel. The range of settings means you can create white noise in the form of rain, waterfall, or surf sounds. You can mask the sounds of city noise, a snoring partner, or the TV in the next room with this little baby. You have full control of the volume and pitch at one touch, and it even comes with a travel pouch.
Not everyone needs doodads like these for a good night sleep, but sometimes a little help can be the boost we need to settle into a night of relaxing snoozing. Don’t whip out your pocketbook just because it looks cool—but if you think you could use the nudge, I think these products are worth a try.
Have you tried any of these sleep products? Let me know what you think!
